[origin: EP0481155A1] For manufacturing a cork stopper (4) with the main body (1) made from cork conglomerate and two end sections in a single piece (S1, S2) made from natural cork and the pores (3) in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the stopper, the following stages are carried out: production of the said main body (1) with the prescribed diameter (D); production of a cylindrical bar made from natural cork (2) with the said diameter (D) and with the pores (3) in a perpendicular direction; cutting of two small circular round slices (R1, R2) from the said bar (2) and adhesive bonding of these onto the ends of the said main body (1) in order to obtain a finished stopper (4). <IMAGE>
