Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an apparatus for cutting circular wood, in particular curved wood, into lengths, having a circular cross-cut saw 3 which is provided with a feeding device 1, with which the logs 4 are moved in a longitudinal direction with respect to the circular cross-cut saw into the correct position and are clamped in this position, and a discharging device 2 which is adjustable in accordance with the curves of the logs and clamps the latter. According to the invention, provision is made for the discharging device to be arranged in cardan frames 9, 11 which, for the their part, are mounted so as to be vertically and laterally adjustable, so that the discharging device automatically adapts to each curve of the logs and the latter can be fixed in the respective position for the cross-cut.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anlage zum Ablängen von Rundholz, insbesondere von Krummholz, mit einer Kappsäge 3, bei der eine Einzugvorrichtung 1 vorgesehen ist, mit der die Holzstämme 4 in Längsrichtung zu der Kappsäge in die richtige Position bewegt und in dieser festgespannt werden, sowie eine Auszugvorrichtung 2, die entsprechend den Krümmungen der Holzstämme verstellbar ist und diese festspannt. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß die Auszugvorrichtung in Kardanrahmen 9,11 angeordnet ist, die ihrerseits höhen- bzw. seitenverschiebbar gelagert sind, so daß sich die Auszugvorrichtung selbsttätig jeder Krümmung der Holzstämme anpaßt und diese in der jeweiligen Lage für den Kappschnitt festlegbar sind.
