[origin: EP0481309A2] A terminal for an electrical circuit breaker, especially a line-protection or fault-current protection circuit breaker, has a terminal frame which has two lateral webs and two connecting longitudinal webs (10, 11; 12, 13), on whose first lateral web (12) a threaded hole (15) is provided for holding a terminal screw. This terminal frame normally interacts with a U-shaped terminal part, the first lateral web (12) being located between the limbs of the latter. The terminal screw passes through the limb which is located outside the first lateral web (12). In order to improve the strength of the terminal frame, the one of the longitudinal webs (11) overhangs the first lateral web (12) with the threaded hole (15) and the first lateral web (12), which is integrally connected to the other longitudinal web (10) and is connected thereto, engages with a projection (18) into a recess (17) on the one longitudinal web (11) and is fixed therein by being peened over, i.e. by plastic deformation. <IMAGE>
