Abstract (en)
A high thermal conductivity pitch-based carbon fiber is characterised by having a thermal conductivity in the axial direction of fiber of 300 to 1500 W/m/K, a ratio of stack height (Lc 002) of the crystalline structure of the fiber/density ( rho ) of 70 to 500, a degree of agglutination of 0 to 30%, and a compressive strength of 0.2 to 0.5 GPa. A method of producing high thermal conductivity pitch-based carbon fiber is also disclosed.
