Abstract (en)

Certain liquid to pasty products, used especially in the field of beauty care or pharmacy, are particularly easily damaged by contact with the ambient air. Consequently methods have been developed with a view to presenting them in vacuum packages. However, they are aimed more at the removal of the air which may remain in the package filled with product at the time when the said package is closed (by welding, by leaktight fitting of a dispensing valve, etc). In addition, no special precaution is taken during filling of the package which, taking place in the open air, cannot but give rise to the trapping of undesirable bubbles. <??>The present method makes it possible to rule out any inclusion of air in the product. To this end, the package which consists rather of a reservoir (R) of variable capacity, is filled while in its configuration of maximum capacity inside a hermetic enclosure where an air void prevails. More concretely, the enclosure is advantageously formed from a small cup (110) receiving the reservoir (R) and on which a bell element (210) is fitted in a leaktight manner. The bell element (210) is then connected to a vacuum pump system as well as to a reserve (250) of product (80). Communication takes place preferably by means of a non-return valve (220) arranged at the exit of an injector (200) while a dispensing cylinder (240) makes it possible to isolate a volume of product (80) equal to the maximum capacity of the reservoir (R) and then to expel it (drive it back) via a three-way valve (230). <IMAGE>

Abstract (fr)

Certains produits liquides à pâteux, employés notamment en cosmétologie ou en pharmacie, craignent particulièrement le contact avec l'air ambiant. Aussi des méthodes ont-elles été développées en vue de les présenter dans des emballages sous vide. Cependant elles visent plutôt l'élimination de l'air pouvant rester dans l'emballage rempli de produit au moment où ce dernier est fermé (par soudure, par fixation étanche d'une valve de distribution...). Et aucune précaution particulière n'est prise lors du remplissage de l'emballage qui, s'effectuant à l'air libre, ne manque pas d'entraîner le piégeage de bulles indésirables. Le présent procédé permet d'écarter toute inclusion d'air dans le produit. Pour cela l'emballage, qui consiste plutôt en un réservoir (R) de contenance variable, est rempli alors qu'il se trouve dans sa configuration de contenance maximale à l'intérieur d'une enceinte hermétique où règne un vide d'air. Plus concrètement, l'enceinte est avantageusement formée d'un godet ( 110) recevant le réservoir (R) et sur lequel s'adapte de façon étanche une cloche (210). La cloche (210) est alors reliée à un système de pompes à vide ainsi qu'à une réserve (250) de produit (80). La communication s'effectue de préférence par l'intermédiaire d'un clapet anti-retour (220) disposé à la sortie d'un injecteur (200) tandis qu'un cylindre doseur (240) permet d'isoler un volume de produit (80) égal à la contenance maximale du réservoir (R), puis de le refouler via une vanne (230) trois voies. <IMAGE>
