Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0481854A1] Certain liquid to pasty products, used especially in the field of beauty care or pharmacy, are particularly easily damaged by contact with the ambient air. Consequently methods have been developed with a view to presenting them in vacuum packages. However, they are aimed more at the removal of the air which may remain in the package filled with product at the time when the said package is closed (by welding, by leaktight fitting of a dispensing valve, etc). In addition, no special precaution is taken during filling of the package which, taking place in the open air, cannot but give rise to the trapping of undesirable bubbles. <??>The present method makes it possible to rule out any inclusion of air in the product. To this end, the package which consists rather of a reservoir (R) of variable capacity, is filled while in its configuration of maximum capacity inside a hermetic enclosure where an air void prevails. More concretely, the enclosure is advantageously formed from a small cup (110) receiving the reservoir (R) and on which a bell element (210) is fitted in a leaktight manner. The bell element (210) is then connected to a vacuum pump system as well as to a reserve (250) of product (80). Communication takes place preferably by means of a non-return valve (220) arranged at the exit of an injector (200) while a dispensing cylinder (240) makes it possible to isolate a volume of product (80) equal to the maximum capacity of the reservoir (R) and then to expel it (drive it back) via a three-way valve (230). <IMAGE>
