Abstract (en)
The present invention concerns a projectile carrying submunitions and impelled by a rotational motion about its longitudinal axis. The projectile comprises a central part (8) which extends longitudinally in the body (7) of the projectile and means (10, 12) of rendering the said part integral with the body (7) of the projectile. The part (8) substantially follows the outlines of the submunitions (9) which surround it in such a way as to drive them in the rotational motion of the projectile. The shape of the part ensures, with the body (7) of the projectile, the support of the submunitions. One field of application of the invention concerns grenade-scattering projectiles. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un projectile porteur de sous-munitions, animé d'un mouvement de rotation autour de son axe longitudinal. Le projectile comporte une pièce centrale (8) qui s'étend longitudinalement dans le corps (7) du projectile et des moyens (10, 12) pour rendre solidaire ladite pièce du corps (7) du projectile. La pièce (8) épouse sensiblement les formes des sous-munitions (9) qui l'entourent de façon à les entraîner dans le mouvement de rotation du projectile. La forme de la pièce permet, avec le corps (7) du projectile, d'assurer le maintien des sous-munitions Un domaine d'application de l'invention concerne les projectiles disperseurs de grenades. <IMAGE>
