Process for preparing a complex-shape workpiece from a metallic or ceramic powder (5), in which a female mould (2) is lined with a clinging, gas-tight film (1) closed at one end, the latter being pressed against the inside walls of the female mould (2) by a difference in pressure and being filled under positive pressure with powder (5), whereupon the powder (5) enclosed in the film (1) is compressed by reversing the difference in pressure and precompacted to form a green compact of sufficient intrinsic strength. The latter is removed from the mould together with the film (1), surrounded with a ceramic supporting compound, heated to decompose or vaporise the film (1) and sintered, whereupon the supporting compound is removed. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplizierten Werkstücks aus einem Metall- oder Keramikpulver (5), indem eine Negativform (2) mit einer anschmiegsamen gasdichten einseitig geschlossenen Folie (1) ausgekleidet, letztere durch Druckdifferenz an die Innenwände der Negativform (2) angepresst und unter Überdruck mit Pulver (5) gefüllt wird, worauf das in der Folie (1) eingeschlossene Pulver (5) durch Umkehrung der Druckdifferenz zusammengepresst und zu einem Grünling genügender Eigenfestigkeit vorverdichtet wird. Letzterer wird samt Folie (1) entformt, mit keramischer Stützmasse umgeben, zwecks Zersetzen oder Verdampfen der Folie (1) erhitzt und gesintert, worauf die Stützmasse entfernt wird. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
