[origin: EP0482337A1] Conventional portable workshop magazines cannot be combined to form larger units and are only suitable for storing loose items and tools, but not for storing complete carrying cases. By equipping the magazine (1) with complementary means (19, 20; 19, 28; 21, 22) which can preferably be constructed as catch means, a capability of connection is achieved in both spatial directions. The magazines are suitable for accommodating drawers (3), shelves and carrying cases (2). The workshop magazine according to the invention can be used universally, allocated individually, its contents are easy to monitor and it contributes to improving safety at work due to the possibility of being grouped together to form larger units. <IMAGE>
