Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a braking agent for a gear-wheel. The aim of the invention is to brake the last wheel of a gear-train in order to prevent the latter rotating by unequal angular steps. <??>This aim is achieved with the aid of an element forming the brake (1) fixed on a first runner (gear) (2) of a gear-train so as to be driven in rotation by the latter, this element (1) having at its periphery a friction surface (39) bearing elastically on a second runner (gear) (6) engaging with the first, in order to brake this second runner (gear) (6). <??>The invention applies more particularly to watch-making gears and to chronographs. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de freinage d'une roue d'un engrenage. Le but de l'invention est de freiner la dernière roue d'un train d'engrenages afin d'éviter que celle-ci ne tourne par pas angulaires inégaux. Ce but est atteint à l'aide d'un élément formant frein (1) fixé sur un premier mobile (2) d'un train d'engrenages de façon à être entraîné en rotation par celui-ci, cet élément (1) présentant à sa périphérie une surface de friction (39) venant en appui élastique sur un second mobile (6) engrenant avec le premier et pour freiner ce second mobile (6). L'invention s'applique plus particulièrement aux engrenages horlogers et aux chronographes. <IMAGE>
