[origin: EP0482500A1] A guiding device 1 for guiding, deflecting and/or reversing a material web 2 essentially comprises a block 3 which has a curved surface. The block 3 is segmented, i.e. divided into sections 5A to 5F, and in each section there is a certain number of bores 4A to 4F which are supplied with medium flows at different speed or with different medium quantities.
