Abstract (en)
The table is to be used, in particular, as a desk or office machine table. It has a cable duct (24) extending essentially below the surface of the table top (10) along the rear edge thereof. Such a cable duct is usually provided with an upper covering and is therefore not readily accessible if the table stands against a wall and is linked to adjacent tables. In order to improve the accessibility, it is proposed that the table top (10) be lowerable at least with its rear edge in front of the cable duct (24) and that the latter is then accessible through a front opening. <IMAGE>

Der Tisch soll insbesondere als Schreib- oder Büromaschinentisch Verwendung finden. Er hat einen sich im wesentlichen unterhalb der Oberfläche der Tischplatte (10) längs deren Hinterkante erstreckenden Kabelkanal (24). Ein solcher Kabelkanal ist normalerweise mit einer oberen Abdeckung versehen und daher schlecht zugänglich, wenn der Tisch an einer Wand steht und mit benachbarten Tischen verkettet ist. Um die Zugänglichkeit zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Tischplatte (10) wenigstens mit ihrer Hinterkante vor dem Kabelkanal (24) absenkbar und dieser dann durch eine vordere Öffnung zugänglich ist. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
