[origin: WO9004687A1] In a method of securing elastomeric or insulating materials, e.g. elastic mats, between two structural components (3, 7), the upper shank (1.o) of a substantially Z-shaped elastomer section (1) is secured to one of the components (3) by means of nails (2) or the like, while the lower shank (1.u) lies on the elastomeric or insulating material (mat 4). A support (5) is then placed against the upper shank (1.o) and an elastic cord (6) is fitted above it. Finally the second component (7) is made on the spot, whereupon the elastomeric or insulating materials (mat 4), the elastomer section (1), the support (5) and the elastic cord (6) act as a hidden sheath.
