Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9117837A1] An object of this invention is to easily peel off a masking material after completion of surface treatment. In this invention, for attaining the above object, a stepped part is formed on the peripheral edge of the masking material having an adhesive layer formed on one surface of a plate-like body. Since a surface treatment film is cut by said stepped part at the peripheral edge of the masking material, the masking material can be peeled off without obstructed by said surface treatment film.
