[origin: WO9118160A1] In order to achieve a substantially metallic and/or pearly sheen in a decorative floor covering (1) essentially consisting of a single or multi-part synthetic resin system, at least one iridescent or interfering colorant is mixed with at least one portion (9, 11) of the synthetic resin system and, when the synthetic resin system is applied as the decorative floor covering at least one portion (9, 11) and the remaining portion (7) of the synthetic resin system are applied separately or successively in an alternating manner with spacing. This causes the colorant(s) to be unevenly distributed in the flooring.

Afin d'obtenir dans un revêtement de sol décoratif (1), consistant essentiellement en un système de résine synthétique à un ou à plusieurs constituants, l'effet d'un éclat métallique et/ou d'un lustre perlaire, il faut mélanger avant la fabrication du revêtement de sol à au moins une partie (9, 11) du système de résine synthétique un colorant iridescent ou interférant et appliquer lors de la mise en oeuvre du système de résine synthétique pour le revêtement de sol décoratif au moins cette partie (9, 11) et la partie restante (7) du système de résine synthétique séparément ou successivement, en alternance, avec des espacements. Ainsi, le ou les colorants sont répartis dans le sol de manière non homogène.
