[origin: EP0484640A1] For turning wings which are moveable about a laterally and vertically extending axis and which are installed as middle or intermediate wings in triple-wing or multi-wing windows having a casement without an intermediate post, a pivot bearing is proposed. It consists of a frame bearing half 26 mountable in a supported manner on the room-side end face of the casement and of a wing bearing half mountable on the circumferential face of the wing overlap in the region of a wing corner, in each case one bearing half 26 being equipped with a bearing journal 34 and the other bearing half with a bearing bush for receiving the bearing journal 34, whilst furthermore the frame bearing half 26 consists of a fastening part 30 and of an adjusting part 32 which is carried by the latter and which is adjustable parallel to the casement plane over a limited range of displacement, and the adjusting part 32 carries the bearing journal 34. So that an adjustment of the pivot bearing, to be executed by a layman and therefore easily and quickly, can be obtained by only one operator, the adjusting part 32 is formed by a sliding block which is guided and supported displaceably in a recess or a perforation 38 of the fastening part 30 and on which engages a screw spindle 40 extending parallel to the direction of displacement and having its abutment on the fastening part 30, and has at least one end accessible from outside and equipped with an engagement 42 for an adjusting tool. <IMAGE>
