[origin: US5176183A] The end loop of a heddle has at its opening an inner edge that comes into contact with the slide bar, the inner edge having an asymmetric contour relative to the longitudinal line of symmetry passing through the opening with an arc on the side of the back part which has a greater radius of curvature and an arc on the side of the free shank of the end loop which has a smaller radius of curvature. Compared with conventional heddles with short corner arcs at the inner edge of the end loop this end loop is strengthened, particularly in the zone of the back part prone to breakage, by the provision of the arc with the larger radius of curvature on the side of the back part. A rectilinear section connecting to the two arcs prevents jamming of the heddle on the slide bar.

Die Endöse (1) einer Weblitze weist an der Öffnung (2) eine mit der Litzentragschiene in Kontakt kommende Innenkante (3) auf, die eine in bezug auf die Längssymmetrielinie (4) durch die Öffnung (2) asymmetrische Kontur mit einem einen grösserem Krümmungsradius aufweisenden Bogen (8) auf der Seite des Rückenteils (5) und einem einen kleineren Krümmungsradius aufweisenden Bogen (9) auf der Seite des freien Schenkels (6) der Endöse aufweist. Gegenüber herkömmlichen Weblitzen mit kurzen Eckbögen an der Endösen-Innenkante ist diese Endöse insbesondere in der bruchgefährdeten Zone (7) im Rückenteil (5) durch den Bogen (8) mit grossem Krümmungsradius auf der Seite des Rückenteils verstärkt. Ein die beiden Bögen (8,9) der Innenkante (3) verbindender geradliniger Abschnitt (10) verbindet die beiden Bögen (8,9) und verhindert ein Verklemmen der Weblitze auf der Litzentragschiene. <IMAGE>
