[origin: JPH04265454A] PURPOSE: To provide a device for supplying combustion gas to the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine at a controlled rate, capable of being produced at a low cost and with high reliability. CONSTITUTION: This device for supplying combustion gas to the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine at a controlled rate is provided with an exhaust gas pipe and an intake pipe disposed with a throttle valve, both of which are connected through a pipe line internally-formed with a shut-off valve, and a driving means for switching to an open position assigned to the shut-off valve and the throttle valve, wherein a driving means 4 for the shut-off valve 1 and the throttle valve 3 are operated together by a common operation device.
