The device has a supporting table with a horizontal bearing surface (1) for the work piece (2) to be processed and beading rollers (3) arranged in pairs which are rotatably mounted on the bearing surface (1) and are motor-driven. Arranged above the supporting table (1) is a vertically moveable pressure application device (5) with at least one pressure element (7) which rests against the top edge of the work piece (2) under the weight of the pressure application device (5).
