Abstract (en)
A layer of a coating composition is coated on to at least one surface of a continuous web of a planar substrate as said web is moved past a coating means. The coating composition is radiation or thermally curable, contains less than about 5% solvent or water and contains at least about 60% pigment based on the weight of said composition. The surface of the said layer is formed and the coating composition is at least partially cured.
