Packaging for dangerous products or fragile containers, of the type comprising a case and an inner lining (2) housed in the case and intended to receive a container containing a product, the inner lining being formed from two half-shells (3, 4) and each one having a lateral wall and a base and an inner wall delimiting at least one cavity intended to receive the container containing the dangerous product, the said half-shells being intended to be assembled via their edge, characterised in that each half-shell (3, 4) is produced from a moulded material permitting the passage of liquids and shaped so as to provide, between the lateral wall and the inner wall, a hollow volume filled with an inert, light material (19) which absorbs liquids and forms a good shock absorber. <IMAGE>

Emballage pour produits dangereux ou récipients fragiles, du type comprenant une caisse et une garniture intérieure (2) logée dans la caisse et destinée à recevoir un récipient contenant un produit, la garniture intérieure étant formée de deux demi-coquilles (3, 4) et présentant chacune une paroi latérale et un fond et, une paroi interne délimitant au moins une cavité destinée à recevoir le récipient contenant le produit dangereux, lesdites demi-coquilles étant destinées à être assemblées par leur bord, caractérisé en ce que chaque demi-coquille (3, 4) est réalisée en un matériau moulé permettant le passage des liquides et conformé de manière à ménager entre la paroi latérale et la paroi interne un volume creux rempli d'un matériau (19) inerte, léger, absorbant les liquides et constituant un bon amortisseur de chocs. <IMAGE>
