2.1 In previous copying devices, sheet deflection takes place merely passively by means of guide elements which form a guide channel and must not be too greatly curved for this purpose. In particular for compact copying apparatuses, a greatly curved sheet deflection is desirable for a space-saving construction. <??>2.2 In order to guarantee deflection with a relatively great curvature in a reliable manner and regardless of the type of sheet, the deflection device in the new copying apparatus is constructed as a guide element (7, 10) which partially surrounds a drawing-off roller (2) and rests with a predetermined contact force on the circumference (25) of the drawing-off roller (2), leaving an insertion gap. The resulting, active pressing-on force for the sheet to be drawn in onto the drawing-off roller allows reliable transport of the paper with simultaneous deflection with a small radius of curvature. <??>2.3 Compact copying apparatuses with drawing-in of paper and delivery of copy provided on the same side. <IMAGE>

Insbesondere für kompakte Kopiergeräte ist für einen platzsparenden Aufbau eine stark gekrümmte Blattumlenkung wünschenswert. Um eine Umlenkung mit einer verhältnismäßig starken Krümmung zuverlässig und unabhängig von der Blattsorte zu gewährleisten, wird die Umlenkeinrichtung bei dem Kopiergerät als ein eine Abzugswalze (2) teilweise umgebendes Führungselement (7, 10) ausgebildet, das unter Belassen eines Einführungsspaltes mit einer vorbestimmten Anlagekraft am Umfang (25) der Abzugswalze (2) anliegt. Die resultierende, aktive Andruckkraft für das einzuziehende Blatt an die Abzugswalze ermöglicht einen sicheren Papiertransport bei gleichzeitiger Umlenkung mit kleinem Krümmungsradius. Anzuwenden bei kompakten Kopiergeräten mit auf derselben Seite vorgesehenem Papiereinzug und Kopieausgabe. <IMAGE>
