Abstract (en)

A tape of unidirectionally aligned reinforcing and thermoplastic fibres which is built up of threads of reinforcing and/or thermoplastic fibres is described, the thread density being about 5 to 20 threads/cm width and the threads having a titre of about 1000 to 3000 dtex, and the matrix fibres being locally fused-on or fused-in with the formation of strengthening points, on at least one of the tape surfaces. The tape is suitable, for example, as a semi-finished product for the production of laminated materials. <IMAGE>

Beschrieben wird ein Band aus unidirektional ausgerichteten Verstärkungs- und Thermoplastfasern das aus Garnen aus Verstärkungs- und/oder Thermoplastfasern aufgebaut ist, wobei die Garndichte etwa 5 bis 20 Garne/cm Breite beträgt und die Garne einen Titer von etwa 1000 bis 3000 dtex, aufweisen, und wobei die Matrixfasern zumindest an einer der Bandoberflächen unter Ausbildung von Verfestigungspunkten lokal an- oder aufgeschmolzen sind. Das Band eignet sich z.B. als Halbzeug zur Herstellung von Verbundwerkstoffen. <IMAGE>
