[origin: EP0486216A1] Thereis disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material improved in light-fastness. The photographic material comprises a support and provided thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a dye forming coupler, wherein said silver halide emulsion layer contains a compound having a singlet oxygen-quenching ability with a quenching rate constant kq of not less than 1 x 10<8> M<-><1>s<-><1> and a compound different in kind from said compound having a singlet oxygen-quenching ability and having a radical-scavenging ability.
