[origin: EP0486348A1] The discharge wheels (14) are in an interchangeable cartridge (9) which can be fitted to the shaft (4) of the pump (1) in a recess formed in the rear portion (37) of the pump body. The cartridge comprises an internal sleeve (10) attachable to the shaft (4) by means of a key, six finned wheels (14) (for example) joined radially to the sleeve (10), an external cylindrical housing (21) and five separating flanges (16) forming the discharge chambers. <IMAGE>
