[origin: EP0486378A1] Pump for delivering or spraying a fluid product, comprising a pump body (201) delimiting a pump chamber (206) in which a piston (203) slides, the said pump comprising a hollow push rod (207, 208) provided with an outlet passage (241), the said push rod being connected to the piston in order to actuate the said piston and to permit the output of the product, the said pump furthermore comprising a suction chamber (219) which communicates with the hollow push rod and which reduces in volume when the push rod is pressed and increases in volume when the push rod is no longer being pressed, characterised in that the said suction chamber (219) is delimited by the piston (203) and the push rod (207, 208) and the volume of the said chamber varies by relative sliding of the push rod and the piston. <IMAGE>
