In a sleeper (1) made of synthetic material for the permanent way of a railway, in which insert pieces extending in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper and serving for the reinforcing and/or anchoring of rail screws are incorporated in a synthetic material, in particular a hard polyurethane foam, the edges of the insert pieces (2) running in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper have mounted on the profile members (3) which protrude over the height of the insert pieces (2), whereby even relatively high axial loads can be absorbed securely without the risk of crack formation. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei einer Kunststoffschwelle (1) für den Eisenbahnoberbau, bei welcher in einen Kunststoff, insbesondere Polyurethan-Hartschaum, sich in Schwellenlängsrichtung erstreckende, der Versteifung und/oder Verankerung von Schienenschrauben dienende Einlagen angeordnet sind, sind an den in Schwellenlängsrichtung verlaufenden Rändern der Einlagen (2) über die Höhe der Einlagen (2) vorstehende Profile (3) angeordnet, wodurch ohne Gefahr von Rißbildungen auch höhere Achslasten mit Sicherheit aufgenommen werden können. <IMAGE>
