Abstract (en)
The tank (1) is closed by a pivotable cover (2, 3), which is pivoted by means of a hollow shaft (7). The cover (2, 3) rests on the tank rim (5) by means of a bearing section (4). The bearing section (4) is adjoined by a plate section (12), which together with the tank inner wall section (11) forms a narrow gap (13). By the labyrinth seal thus formed, a resistance is provided against flowing out of the gases and/or vapours produced in the tank (1). The amount flowing out is extracted through the intermediate space (9) and the inner space (8) of the hollow shaft (7). Consequently, the amount of exhaust air is considerably reduced, no gases and/or vapours being extracted from the inner space of the tank (1). This reduces the power demand of a given installation and also the dimensions of the equipment necessary for extracting and supplying the air. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Wanne (1) ist von einem schwenkbaren Deckel (2,3) verschlossen, der mittels einer Hohlwelle (7) geschwenkt wird. Der Deckel (2,3) liegt über einen Auflageabschnitt (4) auf dem Wannenrand (5) auf. Am Auflageabschnitt (4) schliesst ein Plattenabschnitt (12) auf, der zusammen mit dem Wanneninnenwandabschnitt (11) einen engen Spalt (13) bildet. Durch die damit gebildete Labyrinth-Dichtung ist dem Ausströmen der in der Wanne (1) entstehenden Gase und/oder Dämpfe ein Widerstand entgegengesetzt. Die ausströmende Menge wird durch den Zwischenraum (9) und dem Innenraum (8) der Hohlwelle (7) abgesogen. Damit ist die Abluftmenge beträchtlich reduziert, wobei keine Gase und/oder Dämpfe aus dem Innenraum der Wanne (1) abgesogen werden. Dieses vermindert den Leistungsbedarf einer gegebenen Anlage und auch die Abmessungen der zum Absaugen und Zuführen der Luft notwendigen Apparate. <IMAGE>
