[origin: EP0486767A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for connecting a door frame (5) in the wall opening of a beam wall (1). The apparatus is arranged between the reveal of the door frame and has a wall anchor (11) with connecting angles (6, 7) on both sides and clamping jaws (8, 9) for the frame profile which are parallel to the wall. One clamping jaw (8) can be adjusted by means of a set-screw (10). Fastened to the beam profile (2) is an anchor plate (11) with an anchoring member (12). The adjustable clamping jaw (8) is assigned a counter-jaw (13) which is adjustable by means of the set-screw (10). Upon actuation of the set-screw (10), the clamping jaw (8) and counter-jaw (13) clamp the anchoring member (12) of the anchor plate between them, whereby the frame profile is fastened without any fear of the sandwich type plasterboards (4) of the beam wall which form the wall surfaces being clamped and consequently causing said sandwich type plasterboards to cave in or become damaged. <IMAGE>
