Abstract (en)
In a cutting station (4), a squared beam (1) is moved by a circulating drive band (5) along a cutter (11), which slices a wood lamina (2) from the squared beam (1). The squared beam (1) is moved along the cutter (11) in repeated circulation. When the remaining squared beam (1) has become so thin that there is the risk that the drive band (5) will come into contact with the cutter (11) and be damaged, a supporting lamina (17) is placed on the squared beam (1) at the run-in. The supporting lamina (17) is removed from the residual lamina (1a) of the squared beam (1) at the run-out and returned in the cycle to the run-in. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
In einer Schneidstation (4) wird ein Kantholz (1) durch ein umlaufendes Antriebsband (5) an einem Messer (11) entlangbewegt, das eine Holzlamelle (2) von dem Kantholz (1) abtrennt. Das Kantholz (1) wird in mehrmaligem Umlauf an dem Messer (11) entlangbewegt. Wenn das verbleibende Kantholz (1) so dünn geworden ist, daß die Gefahr besteht, daß das Antriebsband (5) mit dem Messer (11) in Berührung kommt und beschädigt wird, wird auf das Kantholz (1) am Einlauf eine Stützlamelle (17) aufgelegt. Die Stützlamelle (17) wird am Auslauf von der Restlamelle (1a) des Kantholzes (1) abgenommen und im Kreislauf wieder zum Einlauf geführt. <IMAGE>
