Abstract (en)
The wet end of a twin-wire paper machine is provided with an open forming roller (1) in the lower wire and a combination of suction boxes (2) in the lower wire (9) and vacuum suction boxes (4) in the upper wire. In this case, furthermore, the choice of the levels of the individual wire portions provides particularly advantageous conditions for the operation of the paper machine in a wide range of applications, in particular heavy types at low speeds. Der Naßteil einer Doppelsieb-Papiermaschine ist mit einer offenen Formierwalze (1) im Untersieb versehen sowie einer Kombination von Saugkasten (2) im Untersieb (9), Vakuumsaugkasten (4) im Obersieb. Dabei werden ferner durch Wahl der Niveaus der einzelnen Siebabschnitte besonders vorteilhafte Bedingungen für den Betrieb der Papiermaschine in einem breiten Anwendungsbereich, insbesondere schwere Sorten bei geringen Geschwindigkeiten, geschaffen. Ausführungen als Gap-Former und Hybridformer sind möglich. <IMAGE>
