Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a method for making hybrid yarn from thermoplastic fibres and reinforcing fibres, the fibres in each case per se being spread out to give a tape and the two tapes being passed together over rollers or rods and homogeneously mixed. The spreading is carried out in such a way that the reinforcing fibre tape is wider by 20 to 100% than the thermoplastic fibre tape. The hybrid yarn can be dressed and processed to give material which can be pressed to give composite fibre materials.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Hybridgarn aus Thermoplastfasern und Verstärkungsfasern, wobei die Fasern jeweils für sich zu einem Band aufgespreizt werden und die beiden Bänder über Rollen oder Stäbe zusammengeführt und homogen vermischt werden. Die Spreizung wird so durchgeführt, daß das Verstärkungsfaserband um 20 bis 100 % breiter ist als das Thermoplastfaserband. Das Hybridgarn kann geschlichtet und zu Gewebe weiterverarbeitet werden, das zu Faserverbundwerkstoffen verpreßt werden kann.
