[origin: EP0487018A1] The invention relates to a spring-loaded contact probe having a contact part which is guided axially in an electrically conductive sleeve, is electrically conductive, is provided with a piston, is acted on axially by the force of a helical compression spring arranged in the sleeve, has a contact-making point on its free end lying outside the sleeve, and has a guide part which, in the event of axial displacement, interacts with a guide arranged on the sleeve for relative coordination of the contact part with respect to the sleeve. It is provided that the guide part (9) is arranged inside the sleeve (2) and that the contact part (7) has a guide section (10) between the guide part (9) and the contact-making point (12), which guide section (10) has a circular cross-section and is guided in the sleeve (2). <IMAGE>
