The invention relates to a labelling machine for containers, in particular bottles 14. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Etikettiermaschine für Behälter, insbesondere Flaschen 14. Um bei hohen Durchsatzleistungen die Etiketten umfangsmäßig präzise in bezug auf bestimmte Merkmale des Behälters 14 anbringen zu können, ist einem Drehtisch, in dem die Behälter 14 drehfest axial zwischen einem Spannkopf 15 und einem drehgesteuerten Drehteller 12 eingespannt gehalten und an einer oder mehreren am Außenumfang des Drehtisches angeordneten Etikettierstationen vorbeibewegt werden, ein weiterer entsprechend gestalteter Drehtisch vorgeordnet, bei dem jedem Aufnahmeplatz der Behälter 14 ein am Behälter 14 oder am Drehteller 12 form- oder kraftschlüssig angreifendes Arretierorgan 16 zugeordnet ist, das in Abhängigkeit von einer Marke des Behälters 14 wirksam wird, indem es die Drehbewegung des Behälters 14 beziehungsweise des Drehtellers 12 bei Erreichen einer vorbestimmten Drehstellung blockiert. <IMAGE>
