Abstract (en)
Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, characterized in that at least one of the above silver halide emulsion layers contains a coupler represented by the following formula (M-I), a silver halide grain contained in said silver halide emulsion layer is a mixture of at least two kinds of silver halide emulsions different in sensitivity, and the illuminance dependency of sensitivity of the silver halide emulsion having lower sensitivity is smaller than the illuminance dependency of sensitivity of the silver halide emulsion having higher sensitivity <CHEM> wherein Z represents a group of non-metallic atoms necessary for forming a nigrogen-containing heterocyclic ring and the ring formed by said Z may have a substituent; X represents hydrogen atom or an eliminatable group by reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent; and R represents hydrogen atom or a substituent.
