[origin: EP0487492A1] A device for automatically removing stoppers from containers has a basic frame (1), in which a component grasping the stopper (40) of the container (7), in particular a mandrel (38), is movably guided onto the stopper (40) and lifts this stopper out of the container (7). A variety of frames (4) can be connected according to choice to this basic frame (1) by means of connecting elements (5), which frames (4) are assigned a variety of receiving means (24) for different container carrier types (6). Each frame (4) assigned to the different receiving means comprises its own electric motor (18), which can be connected by means of the connecting elements (5) to the electrical system of the basic frame (1).
