[origin: WO9102635A1] A catch spring for a positioning bar (14) which is slidingly arranged in a punch base (32) and provided with a plurality of spaced catch recesses (12) is constructed as a one-piece spring clip (10) made of flexible strip material. It consists of a spring strip (16), which is convex on the side nearer the positioning bar (14) and which is provided with central catch cams (26), and two spring legs (10) arranged on the ends of the spring strip (16) arranged one behind the other in the direction of motion of the positioning bar (14) after the side facing the positioning bar (14). The spring legs (10) are bent symmetrically through the same angle and their free ends are mounted on the punch base (32) so that they cannot slide or tilt.
