[origin: EP0487825A1] What is provided is a hidden fitting for pivoting wings, especially turn-and-tilt wings of windows or doors, having a continuous broad root with chamfer (7) and a fitting groove (3), arranged in the rebate (6) of the wing (2), in which upper and lower bearings (10, 11) determine a spatially fixed axis of rotation (16) for the wing (2) by means of pins or bush-shaped bearing parts. The bearing parts (15, 33) located on the wing are arranged at the top and bottom on flat carrier plates (12, 32) which are so dimensioned and arranged that they come to rest in the continuous broad root with chamfer (7), so that interventions in the wing frame are not necessary for this. <IMAGE>
