A transport container, especially a crane bucket 10, has a folding stirrup and a fastening device which is designed as an automatic holding and release device 18, 21 and can be actuated by pivoting movements of the folding stirrup 15. Belonging to the automatic holding and release device is a catch element 23 which, as a function of the pivoting movement of the folding stirrup 15, interacts with a container-side control element 28 and a container-side holding element 27 to obtain the automatic holding and release function. <IMAGE>

Ein Transportbehälter, insbesondere eine Kranschaufel 10, weist einen Klappbügel und eine als Halte- und Freigabeautomatik 18, 21 ausgebildete Befestigungseinrichtung auf, die durch Schwenkbewegungen des Klappbügels 15 betätigbar ist. Zu der Halte- und Freigabeautomatik gehören ein Rastelement 23, das abhängig von der Schwenkbewegung des Klappbügels 15 mit einem behälterseitigen Steuerelement 28 und einem behälterseitigen Halteelement 27 zur Erzielung der automatischen Halte- und Freigabefunktion zusammenwirkt. <IMAGE>
