[origin: EP0488007A1] What is provided is a drafting unit for a fine-spinning frame, having at least three pairs of rollers (2, 5; 3, 6; 4, 7) assigned in pairs to one another, in which the upper rollers (2, 3, 4) are arranged laterally of the load arm (1) and the load arm (1) has a U-shaped profile. The upper rollers (2, 3, 4) are arranged on rotatable carriers (10) which are mounted by means of bearing bushes (12) on a solid L-shaped supporting part (13). The supporting parts (13) are fastened free of play in this U-shaped load arm (1), so that torques generated during the drawing operation can be sufficiently absorbed. <IMAGE>
