Abstract (en)

There is provided an analog world clock having (a) fixed dial, (b) a nation/city name indicating rotation disc and (c) a local time indicating rotation disc. The fixed dial indicates a present time of a particular area as being indicated by the long and short hands. The disc (b) indicates the names of nations and cities in the world and has its circumferential marks for expressing the respective differences in time of them and which is rotatable in the right-handed rotation at 2 RPD. The disc (c) indicates local times in the world and is rotatable in the the right-handed rotation at 1 RPD. These are superposed in a concentric relation in the manner that a specific mark of the difference in time on the disc (b) and a specific local time mark of said specified area on the disc (c) are coincident with the present time of the specified area indicated by the short hand. The short hand may be eliminated. The disc (b) is preferably rotatably adjustable so that said specified mark can be changed to another specified mark and may depict a world map 360 DEG developed centering on the Antarctica. Any distinction between day and night is designated on the local time marks on the disc (c). <IMAGE>
