Abstract (en)
A color dye image forming method by color developing a silver halide photographic material is desclosed. The silver halide emulsion of the color photographic material is formed in the presence of an iridium compound and a compound of a metal belonging to Group VA, VIA, VIIA and Group VIII of the peoriodic Table, except iridium; and having a silver chloride content of not less than 95 mol %. The photographic material is developed for 40 seconds or less in the presence of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent.
