[origin: WO9200409A1] A process for controlling a fibre processing installation which comprises a series of processing stages in order to provide fibre material in the form of a predetermined web, whereby the properties of this web may be influenced by suitable selectively applicable processing of the fibre material on passing through the installation and whereby, in at least one intermediate stage, a determinable property of the intermediate product and thus a corresponding property of the web may be established. In this intermediate stage a signal is obtained which corresponds to the determinable property and which is used to control the previous stages.

Un procédé pour la commande d'une installation de traitement de fibres comportant une suite d'étages de traitement afin de fournir de la matière fibreuse ayant une structure fibreuse prédéterminée. Grâce à un traitement approprié et sélectivement adaptable de la matière fibreuse passant par l'installation, les caractéristiques de cette structure peuvent être influencées. Dans au moins un étage intermédiaire, une caractéristique déterminable du produit intermédiaire, et par conséquent une caractéristique correspondante de la structure, est définie. Dans cet étage intermédiaire, un signal correspondant à la caractéristique déterminable est obtenu et utilisé pour la régulation des étages précédents.
