Case lock (2), to be fastened so as to rest on a door, having a lock bolt (11) actuable by a lock cylinder and having a lock case (4) which interacts with the bolt and is to be fastened to the door frame (3) and to which is attached suspended a blocking stirrup (5) which can be swung out from the door plane and which has a longitudinally extending blocking slot closed all-round, through which, in the extended position of the bolt (11), the head (11'') of the latter, provided with blocking indentations (11'), is to pass transversely and engage behind. To improve and complete a case lock (2) of the generic type mentioned in the introduction, to the effect that it is even simpler in constructional terms and can also be produced more easily, but is also substantially easier to operate, it is so designed that there is provided on the lock case (4), laterally next to the blocking stirrup (5) and underneath its pivot bearing (16) and the path of movement of the bolt head, a blocking slide (13) which is transversely adjustable relative to the blocking stirrup (5) and which, in the suspended position of the blocking stirrup (5), projects laterally into the blocking slot of the latter and thereby blocks the blocking stirrup against swinging out, but which can be disengaged from this blocking position by an actuating knob (12) attached to it on the outside. <IMAGE>

Türaufliegend zu befestigendes Kastenschloß (2) mit schließzylinderbetätigbarem Schloßriegel (11) und einem damit zusammenwirkenden, am Türrahmen (3) anzuschlagenden Schließkasten (4), an dem ein aus der Türebene herausklappbarer Sperrbügel (5) hängend angebracht ist, der einen längsverlaufenden, ringsum geschlossenen Sperrschlitz aufweist, der in der ausgefahrenen Stellung des Riegels (11) von dessen mit Sperreinschnitten (11') versehenem Kopf (11'') quer zu durchdringen und zu hintergreifen ist. Um ein Kastenschloß (2) der eingangs erwähnten Gattung dahingehend zu verbessern und zu vervollkommnen, daß es baulich noch einfacher ist und auch leichter hergestellt werden kann, weiterhin aber auch noch wesentlich bedienungsfreundlicher ist, wird es so ausgebildet, daß am Schließkasten (4) seitlich neben dem Sperrbügel (5) und unterhalb seines Klapplagers (16) sowie der Riegelkopf-Bewegungsbahn ein zum Sperrbügel (5) quer verstellbarer Sperrschieber (13) vorgesehen ist, der in der Hängelage des Sperrbügels (5) seitlich in dessen Sperrschlitz hineinragt und dadurch den Sperrbügel gegen Herausklappen blockiert, jedoch aus dieser Blockierungsposition durch einen außen an ihm angebrachten Betätigungsknopf (12) auszurücken ist. <IMAGE>
