A device is disclosed which serves to calculate a motor vehicle servicing interval by referring to different detected or calculated operating values such as starting speed, crankshaft rotations, driving times and dwell times, engine temperature, engine oil pressure, charging air pressure, oil consumption, fuel consumption and the like. The evaluation of this data and the calculation of a servicing interval therefrom takes place by means of a computer (3) which as a result activates a corresponding display and/or outputs a servicing instruction in plain text in a visual and/or acoustic manner via corresponding means (4, 5). In addition, a device (7, 9) is provided which detects an engine oil filling process as such, if appropriate also in terms of quantity and reports this to the computer (3) which when calculating the servicing interval takes into account this information to the extent that the normal servicing interval is lengthened once by a defined time period or a defined mileage. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine Vorrichtung angegeben, die zur Berechnung eines Kraftfahrzeug-Wartungsintervalls anhand verschiedener erfaßter bzw. ermittelter Betriebswerte wie Startanzahl, Kurbelwellenumdrehungen, Fahr- und Standzeiten, Motortemperatur, Motoröldruck, Ladeluftdruck, Ölverbrauch, Kraftstoffverbrauch und dergleichen dient. Die Auswertung dieser Daten und die Berechnung eines Wartungsintervalls hieraus erfolgt mittels eines Computers (3), der als Ergebnis eine entsprechende Anzeige aktiviert und/oder eine Wartungsanweisung im Klartext optisch und/oder akustisch über entsprechende Mittel (4,5) ausgibt. Außerdem ist eine Vorrichtung (7, 9) vorgesehen, die einen Motoröl-Nachfüllvorgang als solches, gegebenenfalls auch mengenmäßig erfaßt und dies an den Computer (3) meldet, der diese Information bei der Berechnung des Wartungsintervalls in dem Sinne berücksichtigt, daß das normale Wartungsintervall einmalig um einen definierten Zeitraum bzw. eine definierte Kilometerleistung verlängert wird. <IMAGE>
