[origin: EP0489271A1] The invention relates to a tile cladding, in particular for a liquid-tight and/or acid- and alkali-resistant floor, consisting of tiles having a polygonal outline and each exhibiting a flat upper side and an underside which can be laid into a bed of adhesive compound, the joints being sealable likewise with the adhesive compound from below and/or with their own joint filler from above. The novel tile cladding is characterised in that on the upper side (3) of each of the tiles (2) a multiplicity of elongated elevations (7) are integrally moulded, the longitudinal axes (10) of which in each case extend at different-sized included angles with respect to the median longitudinal axis (8) of the tiles (2). <IMAGE>
