[origin: EP0489355A2] In a method of producing an outer air grid with vanes which forms the end of an air guide system, a metal sheet, in particular a steel sheet, of the size of the subsequent outer air grid is to be cut to size, bending lines are then to be impressed in the metal sheet as one side of the vanes. Slots which define the other sides of the vanes are then cut or punched out and, in a further work step, each vane is then bent at an angle about the bending line. <IMAGE>
