[origin: EP0489369A1] The invention relates to a gridplate for a device for heat treatment of solids, preferably of cement clinker emerging from a burner aggregate, the gridplate being of box-shaped design and having gas outlet slots for the gas supplied under the gridplate. In this connection, according to the invention, the gridplate members are arranged in the gridplate frame in such a manner that on the front side of the gridplate, seen in the conveying direction of the material, a number of horizontal slots are arranged offset in a terrace-like manner.
