In a seal for a wing rabbet, made of flexible material, for windows, doors or the like, comprising a base limb (1), which has at least one retaining lip (2) and, if appropriate, a cover flange (7), and adjoining the base limb (1), a profiled rear (9) having a stop profile (3) made as a hollow cross-section, the stop profile (3) consists of S-folded side limbs (5, 5 a) arranged in mirror-image fashion relative to one another and of a folded crosspiece (10) connecting the side limbs (5, 5a). In the relaxed state, the stop profile (3) and profiled rear (9) together form an essentially butterfly-shaped cross-section with sealing zones (6, 6 a). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Flügelfalzdichtung aus elastischem Material für Fenster, Türen o. dgl., mit einem Fußsteg (1), der mindestens eine Haltelippe (2) und ggf. einen Abdecksteg (7) aufweist, und einem an den Fußsteg (1) anschließenden Profilrücken (9) mit einem als Hohlquerschnitt ausgebildeten Anschlagprofil (3), besteht das Anschlagprofil (3) aus S-faltenförmigen, spiegelbildlich zueinander angeordneten Seitenstegen (5, 5 a) und einem die Seitenstege (5, 5 a) verbindenden faltenförmigen Quersteg (10). Anschlagprofil (3) und Profilrücken (9) bilden gemeinsam im entspannten Zustand einen im wesentlichen schmetterlingsförmigen Querschnitt mit Dichtzonen (6, 6 a). <IMAGE>
