This hair dryer comprises a casing (1) of which one region comprises means for fastening onto a wall (P) and which contains a hot-air generator unit (3-4) controlled by a switch (5) and intended to establish a current of air between an air inlet orifice (6) and an air outlet orifice (7), the latter receiving a connector (8) solidly attached to a flexible tube (9) equipped with a drying nozzle (10) which may be brought into either a position of storage or of rest, in which the switch is open, or into a position of use, in which the switch is closed. According to the invention, the connector (8) is mounted movably in rotation on the said air outlet orifice (7) and comprises a means (14) for actuating the switch (5) such that the passage of the nozzle (10) from its storage or rest position to its use position brings the switch into its closed state and vice versa by means of transmission of the movement of the said nozzle to the connector by means of the flexible tube. <IMAGE>

Ce sèche-cheveux comprend un boîtier (1) dont une région comporte des moyens de fixation sur un mur (P), et qui contient un groupe générateur d'air chaud (3-4) commandé par un interrupteur (5) et destiné à établir un courant d'air entre un orifice d'entrée (6) et de sortie (7) d'air, ce dernier recevant un connecteur (8) solidaire d'un tube flexible (9) équipé d'une buse de séchage (10) qui peut être amenée, soit en une position de rangement ou de repos pour laquelle l'interrupteur est ouvert, soit en une position d'utilisation pour laquelle l'interrupteur est fermé. Selon l'invention le connecteur (8) est monté mobile en rotation sur ledit orifice de sortie d'air (7), et comporte un moyen d'actionnement (14) de l'interrupteur (5) tel que le passage de la buse (10) de sa position de rangement ou de repos à sa position d'utilisation amène, par transmission du mouvement de ladite buse au connecteur au moyen du tube flexible, l'interrupteur en son état fermé et inversement. <IMAGE>
